So quite an introduction, then. Thankfully for Geneva show goers, their first approach of the Koenigsegg Agera R was less stressful. There, on the show floor, replete in blue and nestled into a peaceful slumber sat the 1,115bhp Swedish hypercar. And because we're a little bit scared of it, we decided a sleeping Agera R is a non-violent Agera R, and thus were able to bring you some pictures of it.
Elsewhere, in this rarefied, cosmic stratosphere occupied by ludicrously expensive hypercars was the Aston Martin V12 Zagato; Aston's Golden Anniversary present, to itself.
Based on a V12 AM Vantage, the Zagato rekindles over 50 years of history between the two famous firms, with the first DB4GT Zagato racers appearing as early as 1961.
Each V12 Zagato takes 2,000 man hours to complete, features a hand-crafted aluminium and carbon fibre construction with a design penned by AM's Marek Reichmann and his team in Britain. You're looking at a £330,000, 510bhp limited-edition supercar with nice red stitching and a big Z badge.
